"The Reverse Mohawk"

Well, he did it again! My sweet-innocent, 4-year old son found a pair of scissors and cut himself a reverse mohawk. This isn't the first time he's done this.

I've been working so hard to get his hair to grow out from the last cutting incident. I had finally gotten it right.

Well, he went to spend the holiday week with his father and his family. I got a call from my ex-husband saying that our 4-year old had cut his hair AGAIN!

I just knew that he was kidding and playing a joke on me. He had no idea how upsetting the whole hair thing is to a mom. I'm so sick of having to buzz all of his hair off. Now, here we go again.
I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but he almost scalped the front of his head. The back remains untouched. Is there something I can get to make the front grow faster?

I have decided to make my son wear his hair like this to school so that all his friends can laugh at him. I don't know what else to do to get him to stop cutting his hair.

Any suggestions?

Oh no! I can't believe that. It looked like he had really pretty hair too. I bet you were upset. My daughter, now 7, has cut her hair many times. I used to cry when she did it. We tried everything, but when they want to do it, they'll do it. I wish I would have known how to stop her. Good luck!

I was planning on making him go to school so everyone could laugh at him; figuring that was the only way to keep him from doing it again. However, he thinks it's hilarious. He doesn't seem to care at all. I guess we'll see. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has this problem.
