"I Hate Shopping!"
How many of you are doing your Christmas shopping online this year?I have pretty much gotten everything off of Ebay. I'm addicted!
My goal this year was to not set foot in any store. I absolutely refuse to stand in long lines.
I did have to go get some wrapping paper, etc. That was ok.
My husband and I decided, a few days ago, to go to Toys R Us to get a couple of presents for my two older sons. Well, I didn't really want to do it originally, but I decided to suck it up and go.
It was the most horrible experience of my life!
Well, not really. But it was bad!
My husband walked around that store for almost two hours trying to pick something out. He would sit and stare at stuff for like 20 minutes and not say anything.
It's almost as if he went "stupid".
I later asked him what was wrong. Apparently, he was overwhelmed. We ended up leaving with absolutely nothing.
I was about ready to strangle him by that time. I told him I couldn't handle it anymore.
I would pick something out, and he would shoot it down; over and over and over again.
Oh well, I guess it's back to the internet.

Melissa is a student, a working mom, and the mother of 4 boys (ages 4, 7, 8, and 10). She is costantly fueled by the tenacity of her boys and their ability to make her laugh! What they say is true, "Laughter is the best medicine!"

I had to laugh when you said that he went "stupid". Ha! I have frequently thought that's what's wrong with my DH. Maybe they can get together and stare at each other.
I actually told my husband what I wrote about him. He thought it was funny, LOL. That was after I told him that I did not mention his name.
He never wants to go toy shopping again!
